The Years of Disarray exhibition is heading to Bratislava

After three successful months at the International Culture Centre in Krakow, the exhibition ‘Years of Disarray 1908–1928. Avant-gardes in the Central Europe’ moves to Slovakia. The third stop of this international project will be Bratislava City Gallery.

In Krakow the exhibition was very successful and excited a lot of public interest. Five and a half thousand people came to see the works of leading Central European avant-garde artists. However, the journey of the unique exhibition is far from over. Under the supervision of coordinators from the Olomouc Museum of Art, Šárka Belšíková and Anežka Šimková, all exhibits are being packaged to be ready for transport to Bratislava. ‘In the Bratislava City Gallery it will be possible to see the exhibition in a partially modified form. The exhibition will be adapted to the premises of Mirbach's Palace and enriched with works by Slovak avant-garde artists,’ says Šárka Belšíková.

The exhibition will be open to visitors of the Bratislava City Gallery from 28 June until 27 October 2019.
